Warren Lownds limited has achieved a reputation for innovation since its foundation as a 'learning in organisations' consultancy in 1991.
Our launch event was an unusual live troubleshooting forum for Heathrow Airport, led by Sir John Harvey-Jones, then at the height of his television 'Trouble-shooter' series. This forged an early link with BAA plc which eventually led to Warren Lownds Limited devising and implementing a ground breaking change programme for BAA's Heathrow Express. This change programme won the 1997 national People Management Award. Sue Lownds' first book - 'Fast Track to Change' - was commissioned by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development as the result of this success. Warren Lownds has continuously researched and developed ways for organisations to make the most of their people. This research highlighted seven aspects for interpersonal excellence in organisations which became the behavioural system known as The Vanilla Concept®. In every aspect of organisational life - team, leadership, individual - these elements emerge time and time again as real performance invigorators.
Since its foundation, Warren Lownds Limited has worked both in the public and private sectors helping a range of organisations to make the most of their people's talent. Customer sectors include major government departments, airports, air and rail transport, I.T., retail, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, construction. In addition to delivering programmes within organisations, Warren Lownds runs its own learning retreat in Staffordshire.
